Meet your fellow New Yorkers! From students, staff, family, academy graduates, and your everyday New Yorker, applications for accepted character will be moved here. You cannot post your application in this forum.
All information about canon characters here at KING OF NEW YORK, will be found in this forum. If you're looking to become a new member here, you should check the threads inside this forum after you read the rules, and plot. At this time, at least one active canon character must be played before any member can request an original character.

Whether you need assistance naming a character, finding a face claim, or writing a biography for a character, post a thread here, and your fellow members can help you with whatever you may need.
Unfortunately, sometimes we look our muse for a character, so before you message a staff member, and ask for the account to be removed from he site, why don't you just drop them off here at the orphanage? Members will have two weeks after the drop off date to decide if they want to pick up an orphaned character, after that, they will be removed from the role play. You must be playing a character for at least one month before you are allowed to orphan them, no applying for a character, and then deciding you don't want them a few days later. The orphanage will be used mostly for inactive canons, but you may allow another member to pick up an original character as well, if you like.
For our academy students who hope to become a professional actor, or actress. No matter how much, or how little experience you may have coming in to Ripley Academy, make sure you post your current resume here. Also, please be sure to update this resume as you get more experience during your time as a student here.
Here is where all detailed biographies of accepted characters will go. Including these as part of a plotting page will help members decide if their character should interact with yours. A quick, and rather easy way to get plots going.
Okay, so now that you have your character you may need others to support the plot you are going for. Request that other members play them for you here. Please try to give as many details as possible. This forum is guest friendly.
Topics in this forum will help us keep the board nice, neat, and organized. Let people know you have an open thread posted, let an offline partner know you started that thread you were plotting, or ask to have a thread put in, or taken out of the archives by posting in the threads inside this forum.
